G.B. back

So GB started back tonight. Not with the girls. Just leaders having a short-ish meeting. And as soon as it all starts, you remember the politics, the hassle, and you wonder what this year has in store for us!

I'm doing the Scripture course again this year for Seniors (11-13yr olds). Am not sure how I feel about it (the course that is), as looks a bit dry, but suppose time will tell and depending what media stuff I can find on the net to go with what is in the supplied books will maybe bring a bit more to it.

Am updating our GB facebook page as minute, and adding new people. Hope we use it more this year. Would love for us to have our own website, but I'm not clever enough to be able to design one just yet! Would need A LOT of help with that! Maybe the guys in Al's work would make me one. Surely they could do it in no time? Hmm...maybe I should get Al to bring them round for dinner some night and invest in that relationship... It's definitely a thought to pursue...Even if they were willing to set it up and teach me how to maintain it? Oh this could be good!

Why have this?

I never really though I would have a 'blog'. I enjoy reading friend's bits and bobs on their blogs, but never thought about having the time, the words, or anyone's interest. But i have a lot of time, I may not have the big long words that make it sound all intelligent, and I may not have anyone read this, but maybe its a way for me to just vent. About life. About M.E.. About church. Who knows. The list could go on.

We'll see what happens from here on in...
